Jamaina

Jamaina is a planetary system orbiting a white/yellow F-class star.  The system lies in the Camelopardalis Constellation of the Segin Region.

The primary planet of the Jamaina system has been occasionally viewed as a candidate for large scale colonization.  The planet is covered in a global ocean, with a dense atmosphere and thick humidity.  Intense typhoon storms and high winds consistently bombard the surface, as the planet is essentially under a constant state of storm conditions.

The unstable conditions make any large scale colonization attempts on the planet's surface ocean impossible.  The majority of population live in space habitants that orbit the planet, though floating habitats above the planet's storms, where the conditions are more earth-like, have been discussed.

Jamaina C
Jamaina C is a large terrestrial world covered in a deep, planet-wide ocean. It's atmosphere is a mixture of nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide, with dense sodium layers in the upper atmosphere. The atmosphere creates an environment with nearly 100% humidity across the entire surface. Intense winds and typhoon storms continuously pummel the sprawling ocean.
