Whistler Hollow

Whistler Hollow is a planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star.  The system lies in the Auriga Constellation of the Auriga Region.

The primary planet of Whistler’s Hollow is slightly cooler than Earth, though prone to extreme climate shifts. The original colonists brought genetically modified crops to world, with the hopes of turning Whistler’s Hollow into an agricultural world.

The plan ultimately failed as the radical climate shifts made any attempted agricultural endeavors impossible. The planet was subsequently abandoned, for years it disappeared from most star lists of inhabited worlds.

Whistler’s Hollow experienced a second wave of colonists as the planet was repopulated after many years. The new economy was much more industrial based, which was better to withstand the planets ever shifting climate.
