Samir is a
planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star. The system lies in
the Canis Major Constellation of the Canopus Region.
The Samir
system is an important trade crossing that
connects the Betelgeuse Region to the Canopus
Region. The majority simply travel through
system between jump stations, and rarely venture
inward to the system's planets.
The primary planet is a
cold, icy, mineral poor world, with little to
offer. The planet houses a small population of
permanent residents. Over the years there
have been various plans thought up about
terraforming the planet, though none of them
have ever moved past the planning stages.
