Companion Star(s): None

Distance from Earth: 56.8 ly

Constellation: Corona Borealis

Region: Inner

Population: 1.1 Billion

Summary:

The Rho Coronae Borealis System is one of the older systems in the galaxy.  Today the system still has a large and thriving population unlike many of the systems in the inner region.  Planet B and the system’s kuiper belt were first discovered in the 21st century, and planet c was theorized for a long time before being proven.  Two Earth-like moons orbit around planet c; this is where most of population lives.

Planet B

Discovered in the 21st century planet b is a hot Jupiter orbiting close to the star.  The planet glows blue in the light of the star.

Planet C

Once a theoretical planet later proven to be true.  Planet c is a 4 Jupiter mass planet orbiting within the habitable zone.

C – Moon A

The habitable moon of Planet C is the most populated world in the system.

C – Moon B

Drier, and with a smaller population than Moon A, Moon B is also a habitable moon.

C – Moon C

The dry dusty outer moon.

Planet D

Gas giant similar to Jupiter.

D – Moon A

The icy moon of Planet d.

Planet E

Outer cold ice giant.

Kuiper Belt

Discovered in the 21st century the icy Kuiper Belt of Rho Coronae Borealis extends between 40 AU and 85 AU.
