Summary:

A three planet system in the which the primary is a warm tropical world covered in massive trees.  The large evergreen trees that create the dense forests lured early settlers, cutting down the trees and exporting the valuable wood become very profitable.  The mass deforestation lasted only for a short time, soon a planetary government was formed and quickly made damaging any trees illegal.  The forests damaged by the early settlers eventually grew back returning most of the planet to its original state before the arrival of people.

Nortique B

A large super-earth planet orbiting close to the sun.  This harsh world is covered in seas of liquid magna, that is constantly being stirred by the gravity from the nearby star.  Under the thick atmosphere, high gravity, and extreme temperatures nothing can survive, not even the hardiest bacteria.

Nortique C

Thick jungles spread across this warm humid world.  Large evergreen trees resembling Sequoias can grow over 300 meters (1000 feet) tall in the planet's low gravity.  These massive trees make up the planet's jungles.

Nortique D

An icy dead world orbiting the outside edge the habitable zone.  This planet may have once been more earth like, though much colder, early in the system's history.  Theory is that the planet cooled significantly causing the atmosphere to freeze and fall to the ground, which now comprises a thick ice layer that sits just below the regolith.
