New Troy

New Troy is a planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star.  The system lies in the Aquarius Constellation of the Schemali Region.

The primary planet of the New Troy System is a world in which sprawling swamps and savannahs cover the cooler, polar regions, they quickly transition into a vast desert over the rest of the planet.  A "ring of fire" surrounds the equator, a immensely hot region too warm for human habitation.

Early settlers colonized the polar regions converting much of the savannahs into agricultural lands and small cites.  The Broonax, a large grazing animal native to the polar regions, was domesticated and raised primarily its meat.  Broonax meat, which quickly became New Troy's primary export, is often considered a delicacy across the Schemali Region.

New Troy Planets

New Troy B
New Troy B is a terrestrial world with a thick atmosphere consisting of argon and nitrogen.  The planet's hot surface is composited of nickel with deposits of iron.

Distance: 0.37 AU

Orbit: 91 days

Temp: 372 K

Mass: 1.08 Earth

Radius: 6760 km

Gravity: 0.96 g

Rotation: 29 hours

New Troy C
New C is a partially habitable terrestrial world orbiting on the inside edge of the habitable zone.  Cooler polar regions covered in savannahs and swamps transition into a vast desert which covers much the surface.  An uncomfortably hot "ring of fire" stretches across the equator, a region too hot for human habitation.

Gravity: 0.79 g

Rotation: 40 hours

Moon(s): 1

New Troy D
New Troy D is a cold gas giant containing over half of Jupiter's mass.  Trace amounts of methane and argon exist which are scattered throughout the various cloud layers.

Distance: 7.45 AU

Orbit: 22.6 years
