Summary: The planet Maze is a Jungle world orbiting an orange K-class star in the Capricorn Region. The original settlers were freed slaves from the planet Corpius. During the first and second colonization periods slavery was common on many planets, Corpius being one of those worlds. The United Worlds began growing in power and started outlawing slavery on many worlds, though Corpius didn't want to give up its slave tradition. This started a small war between Corpius and the United Worlds which Corpius eventually lost allowing all their slaves to be freed. The majority of those former slaves left Corpius and settled on Maze. Maze has long been a symbol of freedom and anti-slavery.Closest Inhabited Systems (50 ly):
