Lynk

 

Lynk is a planet system orbiting a yellow G-class star in the Hyades Region.  The systems sits in an area called the Golden Triangle, named that because of its location in between three regions.

 
The Lynk System is an important trade junction for those travelling from the Hyades Region to the Gemini or Betelgeuse Regions.  The system contains numerous jump and charging stations.  Because of ongoing security issues in the nearby Tarck System, Lynk is the most common jump point along the route from the inner Hyades Region to the other 2 regions.

 

Lynk is a popular junction system, though most just pass through while to jumping to other systems.  Few traveling through will actuallay venture inward and explore system's planets.

Lynk B is a cold, icy world orbiting just outside the habitable zone.  The planet has a argon/nitrogen atmosphere, with traces of oxygen.  The surface is covered in thick sheets of frozen water ice.  Though below the surface lies an intricate system of liquid rivers and lakes, insulated from the cold.

Lynk C is a large hydrogen and helium gas giant planet with a crushing gravity.  Small colonies have been established on the planet's extensive system of moons.
