Iota Capricorni

Iota Capricorni is a planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star.  The system lies in the Capricornus Constellation of the Capricorn Region.

The Iota Capricorni System's sun has been growing into a  red giant.  The system's primary planet was once much more earth-like with large amounts of liquid.  As the sun has grown into a giant, the majority of the water dried and evaporated, leaving behind a few inland seas.

A limited number of scientific outposts have been established on the surface of the high gravity primary planet, they house a small population.  The majority of the people live in space station that orbit the planet.

Iota Capricorni C
Iota Capricorni C is a partially habitable world.  The planet's swiftly changing sun has stressed this once temperate atmosphere, the surface is now hot, dry, and an endless desert.  Once sprawling oceans covered the surface, as the sun grew larger they condensed to only few small inland seas.
