Epsilon Leporis

Epsilon Leporis is a planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star.  The system lies in the Lepus Constellation of the Fornax Region.

Epsilon Leporis is a red giant orbited by multiple planets.  The system has long been a trade stop located between numerous regions.  The system's jump stations are often busy, they are popular with those travelling between the regions.

The first settlers who colonized the system's primary planet were nomads travelling from the Hyades Region to the Fornax Region.  They found the primary planet an idyllic place, the planet had been ignored by the travellers who simply skipped through the system while headed to the regional centers.

Epsilon Leporis Planets

Epsilon Leporis B
Epislon Leporis B is a habitable terrestrial world.  The planet has a thick atmosphere and strong magnetic field, this shields the surface from the intense, red giant sun.  The planet's land areas are covered in various mosses and algae, with some low rise forests starting to develop.

Epsilon Leporis C
Epsilon Leporis C a terrestrial world that orbits on the outside edge of the habitable zone.  The planet is a bit cooler than Earth, it has a thin carbon dioxide and nitrogen atmosphere.  The planet is quickly warming as the sun has grown into a red giant.

Distance: 20.65 AU
