Elysia

Elysia is a planet system orbiting a yellow G-class star in the Capricorn Region.

The overcrowded worlds of the Capricorn region developed a plan to send large groups of population to conolinize the primary planet in the isolated Elysia System.  The colonization of Elysia involved pre-building infrastructure then moving moving in the population in large groups over a short period of time.

 
Prisoners were initially used during the building phase of the project, prisoners from all around the Capricorn region were moved to Elysia to help build infrastructure for future colonists.  The prisoners were used to construct cities, houses, and roads allowing colonists to be quickly moved to the planet.

With so much infrastructure pre-built, Elysia grew quickly and helped ease overcrowded conditions on neighboring planets.  The plan was so successful that it was copied on other colonization projects in the region.

Elysia B
Elysia B is a 3 earth mass planet orbiting extremely close to the sun.  Tidal forces of the nearby sun turn Elysia B into a very geologically active planet.  Volcanos are common, and even lakes of magma can be seen on the surface.

Elysia C
The primary planet is warmer than Earth, a humid, tropical world.  Dense forests filled with coniferous trees stretch on endlessly, the vegetation loosely resembles that of the Triassic era on Earth.  Very little ice exists on the planets surface, tropical and sub-topical climates dominate the weather patterns.

Elysia D
Elysia D is planet orbiting on the outside edge of the habitable zone.  Though the planet's surface is mostly frozen over with water ice, periods of localized warming can create lakes and even rivers of liquid water before freezing back over.  The planets overall temperature is well below freezing, temperatures as high as 15°C (60°F) have been occasionally recorded.

Elysia E is a gas giant with a little over half of Jupiter's mass.  The planets is composed of mostly hydrogen and helium with traces of methane giving it a slight blue hue.
