Cumberland

Cumberland is a planetary system orbiting a orange K-class star.  The system lies in the Columba Constellation of the Nihal Region.

The primary planet of the Cumberland system is a mountainous, rocky, world.  Sprawling mountain ranges are separated by deep, fog covered valleys.  Early colonists were drawn to the world due to its deposits of palladium and scandium.  Cumberland's mountains were heavily mined while the planet experienced quick growth.

As resources on Cumberland started to dwindle from over-mining, Cumberland was forced to diversify its economy, to help continue growth.  The planet switched to a more agriculture and industrial based economy.
