Avalona

Avalona is a planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star.  The system lies in the Cepheus Constellation of the Borealis Region.

Avalona's primary planet is a world that is cooler than Earth, snow can occur even in the tropics.  Thick ice caps over the north and south poles, they cover the planet's two smaller continents.  The large primary continent stretches along the equator and experiences planet's most comfortable climates.

Despite the planet's overall cool temperatures, the world has grown a large population.  Located only 7 light years from the Lucidenium, the region's center, Avalona experienced the majority of its growth from offshoots from Lucidenium.  Many settlers escaped poor, quickly deteriorating conditions and settled on Avalona.
