16 Cygni

16 Cygni is a binary star system consisting of two yellow G-class stars.  The system lies in the Cygnus Constellation of the Inner/Sol Region.

16 Cygni's planetary system orbits the binary system's slightly smaller star, 16 Cygni B.  The system consists of a large gas giant which contains over two times Jupiter's mass, which is orbited by a Martian sized moon.

16 Cygni B's gas giant has an eccentric orbit, which give the planet radical seasonal swings.  These swings are apparent on the large moon that orbits the planet.  The moon completely freezes over during the winter, while thawing during the spring and summer, during the habitable period when the moon comes to life.

16 Cygni Bb2
16 Cygni Bb2 is a large, Martian sized. moon orbiting 16 Cygni Bb.  Because of the eccentric orbit of 16 Cygni Bb, the moon completely freezes over during the winter, while thawing during the spring and summer, during the habitable period when the moon comes to life.
